Wash and Soak the Rice:

  • Wash the basmati rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water.

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Thinly slice the onion, chop the tomatoes, and gather all the spices.

Sauté Onions:
